I'm an emerging self-taught oil painter from Kingston, Canada painting expressive portraits.  My artistic journey began at a very young age, realizing quickly that I had a knack for observational drawing, later took interest in graffiti and spent years in that world at the same time learning digital painting where I taught myself my foundational skills. 

 

The driving force in each of my paintings for me is to lay down loose brush work and create texture in a way that captures a certain energy, mood and atmosphere. I aim to learn and grow on the path of painting as I would naturally rather than painting like someone else so that my work is always uniquley me. My ultimate goal is to be authentically myself in my work as much as possible right down to each brushstroke and creative decision during the process.
